Executive summary and capabilities

ProInver RATL, C.A. integrates engineering, geosciences and specialized services for the oil and energy sector. Established with private capital, it has offices in Houston (United States), Caracas, Maracaibo, Lechería, Maturín and Valle de la Pascua. Its approach connects subsurface analysis, surface facilities and quality control with the project's production and environmental management objectives.

Chapter 1

Team, approach and organization

The multidisciplinary team brings field experience, modeling methods and technology to the study and operation of hydrocarbon assets.

Proposal preparation considers the process's legal and tax requirements, registration in the Registro Nacional de Contratistas (RNC) where applicable, and the project's health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards. Required documentation and its validity are coordinated for each request.

Chapter 2

Geosciences and subsurface modeling

Our Geosciences and Reservoir Characterization division integrates structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, advanced petrophysics and seismic geophysics. We integrate data to build asset evaluation models in the Orinoco Belt, the Maracaibo Basin and the Eastern Basin.

Geocellular modeling Petrel, CMG, Eclipse 3D
Seismic processing 2D/3D PSTM, PSDM & AVO
Reference standards SPE-PRMS / SEC / WPC
Data architecture Corporate geospatial information systems (SIG) & Geodatabases
Chapter 3

DCO surface facilities and EOR injection

We design, build, commission and operate early production facilities (DCO) and modular skid-mounted systems for handling heavy and extra-heavy crude oils. We also supply high-pressure water injection plants for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) schemes aimed at maintaining pressure in mature reservoirs.

Pumping capacity Up to 48,000 bbl/d (2N+1 Configuration)
Water injection (EOR) Up to 40,000 bbl/d (900-1,900 psi)
Modular facilities Two-phase / three-phase separation
Reference codes ASME B31.3 / B31.4 & API Spec 6D
Chapter 4

ASTM mobile laboratory and fluid quality

Climate-controlled mobile units with automated analytical instrumentation deployed at wellheads and flow stations. They support verification of commercial hydrocarbon parameters with analytical turnaround times of 35 minutes, compared with the 48-hour reference. Blend control enables evaluation of naphtha consumption and opportunities to reduce over-dilution.

Analytical throughput 108 tests / day
Reporting time 35 minutes with QA/QC sign-off
Reference standards ASTM D4007, D1298, D445
PMC / LTQ-1 remediation 600 - 850 BPD recovered crude oil
Chapter 5

LiDAR, UAV and plant digital twins

We use unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and terrestrial 3D laser scanners to support inspection of tanks, pressure vessels and pipeline rights-of-way. We generate as-built digital twins and verticality and roundness profiles with reference to API Standard 650 and API Standard 653. The capture method is defined according to access conditions and inspection requirements.

Capture accuracy Millimeter-level (< 5 mm) GNSS RTK
Integrated sensors Triple-return LiDAR, 45MP RGB cameras and FLIR thermography
Reference standards API Standard 650 & API 653
CAD/BIM deliverables Dense point cloud and 3D meshes
Chapter 6

Automated tank cleaning and environmental management

Automated closed-loop technology for cleaning heavy and extra-heavy crude oil tanks. Operation without personnel entry reduces exposure to risks associated with confined spaces and toxic gases. The system provides for recovery of up to 95% of the commercial crude oil contained in bottom sludge and a reduction of up to 70% in downtime, depending on tank and process conditions.

Operational safety (HSE) 0% personnel entry into tanks
Crude oil recovery Up to 95% returned to sales
Operational savings Up to 70% fewer days out of service
Environmental permit management AOT, AARN and AOE
